examples:
when Ryan records, you see Tina acting super clingy, Goldy is a buffoon that can't take anything seriously, and Unicorn is a tool that makes more tools. Ryan acts with command, he's in charage.
when Tina is recording, like in yandere camp, you see Ryan being more calm or just stubborn, you see Goldy acting like a complete moron, and you see Unicorn Mann being more closed off. Tina acts calm, you can definitely see she loves Ryan, and she's there to help.
when Goldy is recording, Ryan acts almost dismissive, Tina is angry and pushy most often, and Unicorn Mann is smart but also he's constantly falling over himself. Goldy acts aloof, but you can still see that layer where she's thinking about everything.
when Unicorn was recording in the daycare, Ryan was in charge and there was a sense of respect, Tina was tricky but she was an ally, Goldy was there to help in her own sort of way. Unicorn is trying to mirror Ryan.

What do you think would happen if matt/the director just quit-
Would the daycare kids like hate the new director? What would Thomas think?
Would the kids like the new director? Would they riot until the new director gave the position back to Matt?

if matt quit, or more likely gets forced to quit because "child safety"...
no matter what new director you have, between Thomas going completely feral if someone touches his beloved bell, the kids being general horrors to deal with, derp, Ryan, multiple experiments of increasingly more illegal varieties, and also teleporter maintenance ...
they will last 2 episodes, 4 at most.
if they're a director that's strict, there would probably be this big arc where the first half are showing how things be getting worse, before the second half is them planning how to get matt back, whether he wants to or not.
