Thinking about how Sally Wainwright chose to kill off the ONLY WoC in the whole of Last Tango in Halifax just to bring Caroline and her bigoted mother back together instead of letting us see a same-sex mixed race couple raise their daughter in domestic bliss, thus perpetuating the idea that WLW are better off not coming out later in life lest they alienate those closest to them
