Mcevoy, an R&B soul artist who hails from Vancouver, drenches us in glistening synths and contagiously syncopated beats on the twilight glimmering, dreamy waltzing ballad, just one of six fine songs from the EP. ‘forgiveness’, which you can stream below, is another lovelorn ballad that’s part moody, part sublimely inebriating with its foggy atmosphere, swiveling beats, and tenderly aching vocals.
