Got to see these boys 3 nights in a row.
A year ago a lot of people just weren’t sure we would get mcfly back the same again.
Let me just tell you, they are back.
I don’t know how they pulled these shows off. Over 70 songs. As a musician, my mind just can’t comprehend the commitment, endurance and mental and physical capacity this takes. They’ve blown my mind.
Banter was strong as ever. The connection they have with the crowd was as great as it always has been.
They seem ready for new things. New MCFLY things.
Oh and unlucky for the other venues but us in Birmingham got to hear half of Red (as much as Dan could remember on the spot) so that was a nice surprise. And at the end of the last show, we were waiting at the back of the venue for them to come out and Harry tweeted me answering a drum related question. Like as soon as he got off stage. That was a cool way to end the 3 nights!
I love mcfly, so proud of them.
They are well and truly back.
