Confession #10:

i always hated the phrase “boys will be boys”–even when i was really young. i didn’t know what it fully meant but it just made me mad because my brothers would not help around and i didn’t understand. “women has to do the housework”“why”“because that’s what the bible says”“why don’t they help, they’re stronger apparently”“just do it”

made me really mad ngl. i hated it. it’s an excuse all the time.so in the end it was mostly me doing the heavy lifting when my brothers do not help whatsoever–i was bitter LOL. they never helped and when they grew up they always lazed around and it was the women that did everything.so fuck that, i learned a lot anyway.
