- honestly, McGonagall was my favourite gal. I absolutely loved what they did with her: she was a weird triptych of a teacher whom they deeply love and respect whose disappointment cut them deep, a friend and equal, and an old woman whom they disrespect. the scene where Harry literally yells at her about keeping Albus and Severus apart and COMMANDS her to make sure they’re not together by checking the Marauders map… I got chills. I wanted to get my hands on that time turner and show 17-year-old Harry how 40-year-old Harry was speaking to Professor McGonagall. he would have SHIT HIMSELF
