McCree & Hanzo:
Pre-fight is always the hardest time for them
Hanzo isn’t very talkative before a fight unless he is bickering about the two of them being ready-He always makes sure their suits/armor is on tight and properly and that their weapons are perfectly functioning and fully loaded and prepped-He does this about 7 times
McCree is surprisingly a little clingy before a fight because he can tell how tense everyone is and he gets a little worried himself
It’s hardest now because in all honesty the lot of them always are stuck imagining the worst case scenarios happening and it definitely invokes some fear in them
Especially because this is their job, they have to act professional right now and cannot afford to let affections and emotions run high and ruin their plan
But that doesn’t stop McCree from gripping Hanzo’s hand just a little bit tighter than usual or kissing their s/o’s cheek just a little bit longer-It also doesn’t stop Hanzo from re-checking everything for the 8th or 9th time to make sure that the loves of his life are in the best possible circumstances when out in the field (it also doesn’t stop him from kissing them both so very passionately just before heading out in case its the last time he’s able to do so)
During the fight is hard too, but not quite as hard as pre-fight because it’s a little easier to ignore the painful thoughts when they are busying themselves with their respective orders
However, if their roles co-align and they get to be near one another during the mission they never leave the others side
They always have one anothers backs and are always eyeing each other out the corners of their eyes
When they aren’t around each other for a mission it’s a little harder to focus knowing the 3 of them cannot protect one another-Anxiety gets especially high for Hanzo because he gets scared that he doesn’t express his feelings enough and that they’ll get hurt or even die without knowing how much he really cares-They definitely know by the little and subtle things of affection he does, but he doesn’t know that and is constantly worrying over this
Anyways, more often than not they all aren’t on the same job or close to one another because they all have very different skills so
It’s not until post fight that they forget to really breathe-Like the anxiety and tension eating at McCree as he searches for their s/o and Hanzo and vice versa between the 3 of them right after the fight-The other members legit clear out of the way because McCree comes barreling in with frantic eyes and fidgeting hands
When they all meet up it’s legit one of the most tender moments they all have together because theres lots of hugs and smiling and so so so much kissing and its so cute
If someone got hurt the other two are so quick to haul them to Mercy to make sure they are patched up and okay and perfectly healthy because they really worry so much
The worst time they’ve ever endured is when their s/o got held back on the field as a hostage and McCree and Hanzo had to hear they barely got out alive and were shot in the back all through Winston because they couldn’t go see them-It was a very hard time and it took a little bit to find out they were actually a-okay despite McCrees many attempts to break into the medical room against Mercys orders-There was lots of crying from McCree mostly because hes an actual emotional sap-There was so much tear filled scolding from Hanzo because he was so scared he was shaking-Lots of medicated kisses ensued and legit just imagine the 3 of them cuddled in a hospital bed because they refused to leave and were practically cemented to one another for a week out of how fearful the whole experience had been
