Oc Summer Challenge 2021 — Day 10 — Stargazing (late again i know)
McKenna Teller & EZ Reyes
From their earliest childhood, EZ and McKenna have always had this tradition that once a week they both left for the wilderness and settled down to gaze at the stars. For years, they never lost this tradition and then EZ went to jail, McKenna to feel his presence kept going to see the stars whether in the desert or on the university rooftop. After 8 years alone, EZ is released from prison and after a few months of settling in with the Mayans, he invites McKenna to watch the stars for the first time together in years to her delight.

Aesthetic Series: McKenna Teller
McKenna Teller, born to Camden Teller and Julia Carter, from an early age she was close to her cousin Jackson 'Jax' Teller despite the 12-year age difference between them. He was her best friend and protector, a role he will take very seriously, doing everything in his power to ensure that she never follows in their family's footsteps. He didn't want her to one day try to do like them, something Camden greatly appreciated, also hoping she would walk away, despite their connection to the Galindo family. To give her a more stable life, Camden moved his family to Santa Padre to live close to the family of Felipe Reyes, a friend of his whom he was hiding from the cartel to protect him. If the two men had known that the city was going to host a motorcycle club a few years later, they would not have chosen this place to live with their child. McKenna grew up in this environment having Ezekiel and Angel as friends, she also befriended Emily Thomas when they attended the same high school. At the same time, she spent more and more time travelling to Charming wanting to spend more time with Jax, despite the fact that the latter continued to hope that she will spend less time around the Sons and concentrated on her future. But what he didn't know was that she was still friends with Angel who was trying to be a part of the Mayans, and because of this she was spending time with them without specifying her connection to the Sons, knowing they were enemies. While studying Stanford for an MBA, she sees EZ who was visiting his family and Emily get arrested for murder. This will prompt her to leave Santa Padre realizing that she had to get away from the clubs and the problems that could put her life at risk. What she hadn't imagined was that she was unwittingly going to be mixed up with the club again when the Sons were in prison, an enemy club will kidnap her to take revenge on them, it would be Marcus who saved her with the help of the Santo Padre charter (I know in SOA the two clubs are enemies and a temporary peace has been re-established, but if we follow Mayans they look pretty chummy, so I take Mayans into consideration and not SOA for this part.). It was this rescue that brought her back to the club world, but in an honorary capacity respecting her desire for a normal life. At 22 she decides to go back to college and chooses to go to the same one as Emily and without realizing it the same as Miguel with whom she will have a short relationship, before introduces him to Emily. With her degree in hand, she decides to leave and work for a large event planning agency in London wanting to get away from anything related to Mayans or Sons. She returns to the United States in 2014 when Jax asks her to come to see him, returning to Charming she has no idea what her cousin is up to and that this meeting will be the last time she sees him alive. Back home, she decided to open her own event planning agency in Santa Padre wanting to be close to her family and at the same time the Mayans who still considered her an honorary member. She'll be the one planning Emily and Miguel's wedding, the latter trusting her not to ruin it and be discreet about it. When two years later, Angel tells her that EZ is getting out of prison, she is happy, but thinks something is wrong with the fact that he can get out after only 8 years of sentence, but keep it all to herself, waiting for the right time to find out what's going on.

OC Trope Challenge — Day 2 ✨ Cannot Spit it Out
McKenna Teller & EZ Reyes
"I've been told to stay away from you," EZ said, explaining his reason for being distant the past few weeks. "More like, I was ordered to stay away from you. "
"EZ," McKenna whispered, settling in front of him and taking his hands in hers. The distance from her best friend had hurt her, but hearing the explanation she realized that Bishop or worse yet Marcus the two most protective people in her life must had been more than convincing to make him follow this order.
"I tried to follow orders; I really did. But… " He stopped speaking, looking at her not sure if he should finish this sentence.
"But what EZ? "
Squeezing her hands before slowly approaching her and resting her head on hers and whispering softly. "You already know the answer Kenna…" Planting a kiss on her cheek just at the corner of her lips before pulling away from her again. McKenna sighed before getting up and putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Knowing the answer is not the same as hearing it EZ," she slowly stepped out of the trailer, leaving him alone.
