Training Day || McKennedy
Donna tugged tight on her belt; the high knot of hair on her head probably looked ridiculous but Aidan said today was going to be a rough one and that she should prepare to get dirty. Too nervous, the blonde woman decided not to look in the mirror for fear that she would do more primping than was necessary for a situation like this. The last thing she needed was for her boyfriend to poke fun at her before he even began her training. She just wanted to be taken seriously for a change.
Hearing the knock on the door, she inhaled deeply. Rolling her shoulders, she headed down the stairs, pecking Clara on the heading outside. Nervously, she looked up at him; doing her best not to show her anxiety through her expressions as she grabbed his hand.
"Nice day for a little training, huh?
Indignant || Mckennedy
Anger was only one of the emotions teeming in Donna's head. Along with it came confusion, disappointment, and betrayal. She hadn't known the whole story, but by now she was growing tired of Aidan's elusiveness when it came to their relationship and the time that they spent together.
But most of all, it was her self worth that had taken a beating. She wasn't one to dwell on it though. instead, she chose to tackle the issue head on. It was the only way she could gain closure if in fact, he no longer wanted to be with her.
Taking a deep breath, Donna opened the door of Moriarty's instantly scowling as she noticed just how busy the place was. With hesitant steps, she moved to the bar raising her hand in order to get Devin's attention.
"Hey, is Aidan around?"

Actions Speak Louder Than Words || McKennedy
Donna blew out a sigh of relief as the curtains closed, not taking a moment longer than necessary to bask in her accomplishments and a job well done. Shoving her way through the stage hands, the blonde made her way toward her dressing room in order to powder her nose, and readjust her corset before Aidan had the chance to leave.
Taking one last look in the mirror, she smiled wide, shaking her arms out as if she were about to perform yet again. But this wasn't a charade, on the contrary, Donna was quite excited to see the man. Aidan made her heart race. He was brash and full of life- which could only conclude he knew a bit about adventure... and excitement.
Making her way toward the exit, she waved and shook hands with the last bit of the crowd as they filtered out, her eyes catching Aidan's as he waited patiently for the last of them to leave.
Testaments of a Lackluster Debutante
Well he wasn't hard to spot in the crowd....right up front, just like he said.
Wait..... are those............?
Shit! Pay attention to the damn dance, Donna!
