CONTEXT FOR ROY & DEVON ILLUS EP. 18 - SPOILERS AHEAD!

The opening of every crush moment (except Jason’s route) starts off pretty much the same:
Devenementiel has decided to have a Saturday movie night from time to time and the first to host is MC. She picks a movie (action for Roy, animation for Devon), grabs drinks and snacks (Roy: beers and pizza / Devon: wine and aperitif platter), but then — plot twist! — the rest of the team cancels on her last minute (sigh).
Everyone except your crush, of course.
They’re total sweethearts about it, checking if she’d be okay with them coming over and hanging out one-on-one. And obviously, Ysa is MORE than fine with that (yuppie!).
That’s where the paths start to split:
ROY
He jokes about how great it is they both know the movie already because… well, they’re probably not going to watch it (ahaha 👀👀). Cue him immediately getting flustered trying to explain himself.
They hit play, and MC’s having an internal battle — she’s remembering certain moments from the Crowstorm music video and feeling a type of way, but she’s also too shy to make the first move.
They start chatting about a memorable scene and Ysa drops: “You know what else is memorable? The kiss! But I can’t quite remember how it went…” And naturally, they have to recreate it. 💕 Make out session, unlocked 💕
Things heat up — she straddles him, his shirt comes off — but then…
DEVON
He’s clearly thrilled to have her all to himself (and, like… not even hiding it with that up-and-down gaze and low voice). We LOVE that energy, okay.
Movie’s rolling, but Devon keeps “casually” leaning closer every time he reaches for a snack or drink (as if he’s subtle). Eventually, his hand lands on Ysa’s thigh.
Then he just straight-up admits he has no idea what’s going on in the movie because all he’s been thinking about is kissing her (help). And then they do. Passionately. 🫦 Again… and again… until—
…Doorbell.
Guess who? The rest of the Devenementiel crew.
SURPRISEEEE.
They’re all confused, hot, and bothered, but hey — the show must go on. Movie resumes… and WE NEED THE NEXT EPISODE TO COME OUT ASAP AAAAAAAAAAAAA
