Eastern Sierras Day 2: Devils Postpile National Monument. Hiked all over the Inyo National Forest and Ansel Adams Wilderness starting at the Rainbow Falls Trailhead inside the Monument heading first to Rainbow Falls and Lower Falls, then over the Mammoth Pass via the PCT/JMT to McLeod and Horseshoe Lakes, back towards Red Meadow and Sotcher Lake, and finally following the Middle Fork San Joaquin River back to the trailhead. A solid twenty-mile day.
