How cool is this fireplace! 💛 So at the moment, I’m hunting for a midcentury Mala fireplace for our cactus garden. I know we have them in Australia and I’ve seen a few. I’m wanting to have one powder coated to a yellow (case in point) or an orange. There’s a few chilling out on FB marketplace but I need to check in with my powder coating guy to see if the material they’re made from is doable for what he needs to do - so. Speaking of deep burns though, I found theeeee best Midcentury fireplace on Le Facebook Marketplace that was in spectacular condition and was totally FREE! I was so excited I may have weed my pants a little. Anywho I reached out to them as it needed to be picked up by Thursday as they were demolishing the house (I know right, super sads), I waited a whole day for them to reply, geese guys it felt like a lifetime, and they finally got back to me (seriously a day isn’t long at all) to be told someone closer to them was picking it up. Oh my heart 💔 it was in the most perfect condition too. I’m wanting one for our cactus garden🌵. I’m not sure if I want it in the back corner or flat against the neighbouring fence or flat against a back wall that I want to paint a huge desert mural on 🏜.
