2/4 Bridgeport (MCMWTC) 2014

Finally came around to making my bridgeport video.

Would have gotten more footage if there were outlets in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Preparing Marines for survival in mountainous terrain and high elevations is what the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center is known for. Although the mission of the base remains the same throughout the years, leadership and personnel will change and uphold the standard set by those who came before.

A change of command ceremony was hosted at Post 1 aboard the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, June 27, 2014. Col. John J. Carroll Jr. relinquished duties to Col. Scott Leonard.

Random days at lower base were just chill days. A couple EDL checks and chow. Thank god there was wifi.

Day 4/5: The first picture is my fire team conducting reconnaissance on an enemy position before raiding them the next day.

We woke at 0200, went down into the valley, climbed up the hill, got on line and assaulted through at around 0530.

It was just our platoon taking out an entire company. Those dudes were still sleeping! One of the captains popped out of a sleeping bag with his M9 and started shooting at us in it (A lot of people were shooting from sleeping bags actually). 

Once we started egressing, we noticed a platoon of soldiers from the United Arab Emirates just starting to wake up AFTER all the gun fire. Then we started rushing them. These dudes were buddy rushing bare foot jumping on bushes just shooting at us. 

After a while we finally GTFO and took an admin pause. Killed an entire company of Marines and a platoon of UAE. 

We would have left too at the beginning because we had no idea where they were. A cough killed them.
