Ducati UK presents 2018 model range at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show.
Ducati UK will present their 2018 Model year range at this week’s Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show.
Ducati continues the trend of the last few years by introducing important and ground breaking new models into the market place. The bike that encapsulates this trend more than any other is the headline Ducati of 2018, the new Panigale V4. Universally acclaimed by the press since its launch last month, the V4 will surely be the highlight for many visitors.
Although the Panigale V4 will grab the attention, it is the Multistrada range which will be of more importance to many. The Multistrada has been the biggest selling family for Ducati in recent years and 2018 sees the introduction of the new Multistrada 1260 with a new engine, electronic and chassis updates. The Multistrada 1260, will join the Multistrada 950 and Multistrada 1200 Enduro on display.
The Ducati Scrambler brand is also expanded for 2018 with the addition of the Scrambler 1100. The new 1079 cc powered Scrambler is available in three versions, the standard 1100, the Special and Sport. All three variants feature traction control, cornering ABS and riding modes.
The Monster family celebrates its 25th anniversary with the new Monster 821. The 821 is updated with various aesthetic nods to the original Monster and takes on many of the improvements already in situ with the Monster 1200. Visitors will also be able to see the Monster 1200 and 797 on display.
The popular 959 Panigale which retains the twin cylinder heritage of the Ducati Superbike welcomes for 2018 its stablemate the 959 Panigale Corse. The new Corse inspired 959 Panigale retains the performance characteristics of the standard bike and is embellished with Öhlins suspensions, the type-approved Ducati Performance titanium silencers by Akrapovic, lithium-ion battery and a dedicated livery inspired by the MotoGP colours.
A roaring success of 2017 has been the SuperSport which will again be on display at the London show as will the eye catching XDiavel, the cult classic Diavel and the fun- fuelled Hypermotard.
Visitors to the Ducati stand will also have the opportunity to purchase the latest Ducati and Scrambler apparel from the Ducati Store in partnership with Sheffield Motorcycle Centre.
British Superbike stars Shakey Byrne and Taylor Mackenzie will be on the Ducati stand on Friday 16th.
