Picking up the pieces | McOwle
Marlene planned to go to the library and escape everything a bit. The day had been too tiring with suprise quizzes and work loads of essays to write aside from all the drama that Marlene had found herself in. First of all there's Bellatrix and the bugger news she told her the other day.
Up until today, she hadn't talked and seen Thorfinn which is good because the blonde still don't know what to tell him. She felt like he fooled him, making her believe that she was indeed was special and she meant something more to him only to find out she was wrong. After their date in Hogsmeade they had seen each other in school, watched Hufflepuff practiced, done homework together and all those little things that actually further convince her that the Slytherin was wooing her for real only to learn it was all for show.
Then there was that thing with her and Sirius that she'd rather not think about as well today. Rounding up the corner she pulled on the hood that her dark blue cloak her mom had gave her for Christmas just to hide herself from the throngs of people that are probably going out of their respective class rooms and will march down to the direction of the library as well. Unfortunately, before she can even hide her golden locks, she bumped into a tall figure that was rushing to the opposite direction. Of all people, she had to run into the last person she wanted to see.
If it was any other day, she would have been glad to see the handsome face of Thorfinn Rowle but not today. Not after all she found out from Bellatrix and the other students she asked about the rumors abotu thim. She was so dead wrong of letting her walls down and thrusting him. The others were right. Never trust a snake, especially the Slytherin men. "Excuse me..." She tried to shuffle past him not meeting his eyes but no hiding the contempt on her face and voice.
