Established crashtos w Cassie feeling like a perv watching them makeout and rut against each other in a little alcove by the ambulance bay. She just cant take her eyes away, and she cant ignore how wet she is. God, she needs to get laid, preferably by the both of them
expanding on my mcvadi scream au idea thats kinda become mcrashtos
dr cassie mckay who has boundless empathy for her patients, up to a certain point. her breaking point is anyone disrespecting her little shadow, victoria javadi.
she’s never felt these kind of possessive feelings over anyone, but some idiotic frat boy hitting on javadi makes her blood boil.
cassie is cool though, she’s more mature than this. she’s 42 years old for christ’s sake, she can’t be getting this worked up over the pretty med student practically glued to her shoulder for 15 hours.
she rationalizes that she’s just protecting victoria from guys who would harm her, after all cassie knows about shitty men very, very well.
the first kill is partially accidental, an older man is wheeled in on a saturday night, too drunk to stand and far too flirtatious for anyone’s comfort. he latches onto javadi since she’s too polite to shoot him down as hard as santos or mckay.
cassie’s hands shake with anger as she’s getting him situated, gritting her teeth at his continued advances on the doe eyed girl currently placing his IV. victoria’s eyes scream ‘help me’ as she awkwardly nods at him.
it’s not cassie’s fault that in her frustration, she pushed the wrong dosage into his IV. it’s not her fault him sexually harassing her student was distracting. she’s let off with a warning, sent home for the night, but the taste still lingers.
she comes in for her next shift and javadi is already at her shoulder, asking if she’s doing okay after what happened with the patient. cassie can’t believe victoria is worried over her when the med student was the one actively being harassed. her sweetness brings a smile to her face nonetheless.
people die in the ER all the time, pittsburg is a big city with lots of people in it, and they get murder victims all the time! god, no one would even suspect-
trinity santos is staring at her when she clocks in at the central desk, a crooked grin on her face. she asks about the “stunt” cassie pulled on the guy who hurt victoria when princess and perlah walk away.
she insists it was accidental, the result of too much stress, but santos isn’t blind. she’s seen the way cassie looks at victoria like she’s starving, and she gets it. who wouldn’t want to take out someone who upset the sweetest little thing in the ED?
cassie can’t kill a fellow resident, there’s no way in hell, so she shoves down the jealousy, instead choosing to think of santos as an ally.
the next few kills are outside work, they can easily source the addresses of anyone they see through medical records, so it’s easy enough to handle anyone messing with javadi.
sometimes they end up in the ED, sometimes it’s straight to the morgue, but the shitty dollar store costumes they grabbed mean that there’s no way the patient would recognize that the doctor trying to save them was the same person who stabbed them hours prior.
sometimes santos goes it alone, given that cassie has harrison and also an ankle monitor keeping her stuck, but the plans are both of theirs.
