Maya tried to hold back her laughter, but it came out more as a snort with her attempt. “I should have used that one before! Anyways, no...just covers and such...like a normal bar band and show.”

{{ CLOSED STARTER FOR @mcrtalism }}
Finley had never liked therapy. The services provided to him during his time in prison had been less than adequate, and the court-mandated sessions he’d attended after his release had only been marginally better. Nobody would ever get it, Finley had decided long ago. Not unless they’d experienced something similar to what he had, they could never even come close to understanding. He’d sworn to never, ever bother with councilors or psychiatrists again.
This, though, this was different. Recently, his only close friend had been killed in a territory skirmish, and he wasn’t coping very well- he’d been isolating himself for over half a century, and the first time he opened up to someone, they were torn away from him. Finley had come here. He’d heard that the grief councilor here was very good at what she did, so he hoped against hope that maybe, for once in his life, he could get help.
Of course, he’d had to come up with a believable backstory for himself, but that hadn’t been too difficult. He could simply take small, meaningless details from his actual childhood and use those to give it depth.
That was how he’d ended up here, in the waiting room at the councilor’s office, elbows propped on his knees as he sat absolutely still save for the trembling of his hands.
@mcrtalism because why the fuck not
“Does it suck every lover you’ve ever had dies?”
@mcrtalism || Smexy sinday starter Death had a tendency to turn up whenever she felt the need to visit, and until then it’d been at the most convenient of times - apart from that one occasion when she was in the middle of battling several lycans all at once. Selene had just stepped out of the shower and had rubbed herself dry, but rather than wearing the towel she carried it in her hand as she strolled out into her hotel room. Her breath hitched in her throat, causing a delayed gasp, and she scrambled to wrap the towel around her body. “You could’ve given me some notice,” She managed once she had her front covered.

“I am not going to kill the band, they’re one of my favorites. Then again things could happen in a mosh pit or after the show with all the drunks.” She wasn’t going to tell her that Maya bought 2 just for the chance to convince Azra to join her. “You might like the music even.”
@mcrtalism
Maya walked through the Hell portal in Azra’s living room, clad in a red and black armor that looked like it was forged for just her before the pieces quickly fell off her body. All that was left was Maya, dark gashes and bruises covering her body and blood still dripping down to the immaculate hardwood floors, “I’ll pay for the cleaning cost,” she said falling to her knees, still gripping the Crown in her hand. “But hey, I won,” she said sliding it on her head with a bloodied smile.
