minecraft story mode but i bawl my eyes out during reubens death still every time oh my god

ngl it's a little hard playing through mcsm AND writing a fic for it, and not caring AT ALL about Reuben… nothing against him I just don't feel anything towards him (nor his death really, more like "oh okay"). it's probably because he's a pig and not like a cat or dog or any traditional pet-I mean… companion. Jesse would hate me IRL lol

Sorry if this has already been asked, but is Reuben still alive in the Nothing Happened AU? Or does he die some other way?

Yep! He continues to live happily with Jesse, Olivia, and Axel :) I imagine that after Jesse and Reuben had that close call with the butcher at Endercon, Jesse gave him a little collar (or some other distinguishing feature) to differentiate him from the other pigs! Pretty much everyone in town knows not to mess with Reuben now :)
