“It’s tempting to see your enemies as evil, all of them, but there’s good and evil on both sides in every war ever fought.”
When Tyrion first met Missandei, he had seen her as the serious, shy, quiet woman who was eternally loyal to Queen Daenerys. Now, he saw her as a smart, loyal advisor, much like himself. Her words only proved that fact.
“That’s what people don’t realize,” Tyrion replied, nodding. “Every enemy they kill will be grieved over. Every enemy they kill was fighting for what they thought was right, and they died for it. In reality, perhaps we are all evil for fighting each other.” He smiled and shook his head.
“More wine?” he offered, pouring himself another glass.
