😲 I just choked on a cookie when I saw the current hypixel record
I kid you not but hypixel has SHATTERED the record again. The record is now 88,445 players. I really should not look at discord when I'm eating.
New record is 76.4k players and it's GROWING at a frightening rate. I may not even be able to join the server tonight.
Hypixel has been having some network issues the past 2 days and has the player cap at 45k server wide. Skyblock is closed to non donors right now as skyblock is the most affected from the network issues even though player houseing is the culprit. Hypixel staff are working to resolve the issue asap. You can still queue to join the server but expect long waits. MCTA is taking advantage of this issue to reassign some training, contingency, driver shuttle, former tape bus circulator (excluding the Orion VIs) and former rapid buses to local service (most of these will likely end up going to the hypixel route). The former tape bus Orion VIs will become the new driver shuttle fleet.
