it is fun to see him try out a new suit setup

the ten ring/mandarin twist in this movie is so good actually like when you first watch you're like damn this is the same story as the first movie wtf

rhodey who wants to keep talking about us top secret business when the kids are there damn thank god they werent spies

happy is kind of a fascist like wdym the human element of human resources is a problem

( overall his character is annoying AF we know hes only there bc it's the directors )

waiiiitwaitwait wait. i realized this movie is once again the same plot but with fake terrorists this time

the choice of having i'm blue playing over the credits to go into the fleshback.. so good

i love how they dealt with tony's ptsd ....overall it's very fitting

unmotivated to watch thor and idk why because i remember liking the movie. anyways lets go my thoughts under the cut

thinking about it i'm kind of unmotivated for the whole like first and second phase and i think it's because i've seen these movies a few times already and like introductions to characters you know very well are a bit tiring 😭

interestingly it's the first movie that feels like the mcu. i think because we see so many different iconic elements and characters

mcu watching journey is going slowly because the french heatwave killed me but today i'm starting iron man 2 ! writing this post as i watch it

i kind of forgot how much trouble tony had with the reactor like he spends most of 1 having to change it and now the blood poisoning thing. interesting that there's this constant sword of damocles above his head that is also what makes him super yknow

the villain reveal during the race is really neat, i like overall the paralells to tony ( there's also some at the beginning when the guy forges his own armor/whip thing)

waittt they got really french actors for this the french lines are kinda good .... " je te laisse pas avec lui hein , je te laisse pas il est ouf " sounds really natural

the fact that both time we got got evil foreign guy being used by evil white american capitalist ... these movies could be so woke if they werent funded by the us army ( which is soooo obvious in the first movie it's nuts )
