It seemed that what the harbinger had in mind would be something that would have remained purely an idea - to her at least; something intangible and nothing that would be anything that would manifest into reality - even though they had discussed it more than once, the idea of traveling together, meeting his family...it was nothing she ever dared dream of.
Far too audacious, too arrogant...
...yet, here she was, walking a gangplank with him, onto a boat with an armload of luggage she hadn't previously owned, filled with clothing that Aias had insisted were 'entirely necessary' and definitely nothing unneeded - not that she believed that completely if memory served her correctly in regards to their previous date nights and the lengths he had gone to.
His views on such things and hers definitely didn't always align.
"How much time were you given clearance for for your visitation?" it was a fair question after all - he was among the highest ranks within his organization; the potential of him being called away or summoned at random most assuredly existed.
As Aias oversees the loading of their luggage onto the boat that will take them back to his homeland, he briefly entertains the thought that he might have gone a little overboard with the souvenirs (and spoiling Magya.) Then he just as quickly perishes the thought. What else is all this Mora for if not lavishing his loved ones with all the delights Teyvat has to offer?
Nothing, absolutely nothing, and so he'll spend it however and wherever he pleases. His own personal bags are notably few in number- just the one, really, since he tends to keep changes of clothes wherever he's stationed. He likes to travel light.
"Oh, until Krsnik Noc at least," Aias reassures her. It's a valid concern, but unless the war for the New World were to happen tomorrow, he wouldn't miss this visit for anything. "I wouldn't drag you out all this way only to miss one of Snezhnaya's biggest festivals. It really is quite the sight to see..."
His tone trails off fondly, his dull eyes taking a faraway gaze as he falls into reminiscence, looking off towards the horizon. Then the shout of a nearby sailor jostles him back to awareness and he blinks quickly. "Ahem. But of course, we have to get there first. So then. All aboard!"
