honestly, i don't care for either, but what about duco talking trash about the sedins and luu? and what was the twitter scandal with weise?
I think that I've said a lot of things online that I could probably be bashed and hated on for. I also think I've also said a lot of things I wish I could take back. Luckily (knock on wood), I haven't said them online and had any repercussions from them. I also think that, as Toronto boy, Duco was definitely not cheering for the Canucks last spring, much like every single member of my family except me until it came down to the Canucks or the Bruins (guess who most Torontonians hate more?).
While I don't agree with what he posted and while I was angry over it for a while (Hank, Lu and Danny are my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th favourite NHL players), he was a 23-year-old AHLer whose team was out of the playoffs and he made some comments on Twitter that came back to bite him in the butt. I'm a 22-year-old university student and I'm pretty sure I tweeted that I wanted Marchand to be run over by a bus after he hit Salo. I really hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the butt.
Duco's play in the preseason and with the Wolves are what made me like him. Initially, he reminded me of Ryp with his play and sometimes he still does. When training camp started, I was still annoyed, but I decided that I should give him a second chance because I've said stuff I wish I hadn't and, while I'm sure he meant it, I'm also sure he wished he hadn't tweeted it. So I gave him a clean slate and I'm really damn glad I did.
And I'm not actually sure since I ignored Weise's Twitter. I only had second hand information. Something (I may be incorrect) about attacking fans or something? Again, I'm not actually sure.
