Detour Destinations

Malta is on the wish list of many travellers and there are millions of good reasons why. While Valletta gives you this “King’s Landing” feel, did you know that the location used for the scenes outside of Petyr Baelish’s brothel was actually Mdina. This is a small historical town a short bus ride from Valletta.
While still popular with tourists, I found it less crowded than central Valletta and I had the opportunity to get lost in time walking along the narrow streets of Mdina, without encountering major crowds.
