I do a little redesigning
Stuff like the Monolith doesn't effect the mentality of the Starflyer race, however they can still suffer physical effects. That's what Cyro had to endure.
Cyro hates the fact that they look like a monster, they try their best to hide that, via making ragged clothing or in some cases stealing some clothes, their very self conscious abt looking like a monster. Whenever someone screams in terror at their presence they have a breakdown. They try their best to help as many people as possible. When they met Girlfriend and Boyfriend they wanted them both to now that Cyro wasn't gonna hurt them.
