Captured/abandoned Messerschmitt Me 261, Lechfeld, 1945. Originally designed for a record-breaking flight from Berlin to Tokyo, carrying the 1936 Olympic flame. Thereafter, it was intended for use as a reconnaissance aircraft and transporter. However, no particular urgency was attributed to the project.
