so it’s been a while since I’ve been in the resident evil tag, but shout out to Capcom for keeping up their shady business practices and not caring about the fans that have stayed loyal to their games.
reaching out to one of your most popular and loved VA’s that has been with the series since day 1 to voice lines for her iconic character in the RE2 remake, only to later reach out and tell her that her services aren’t needed because they’re going a non-union route is fucking shady, disrespectful, and embarrassing.
Everyone deserves a proper wage for their work, and by going the non-union route, you’re essentially validating that you don’t believe that and want to pay a VA what YOU seem fit, most likely much less than what the job should pay.
Alyson Court deserves better.
