It seems we grammarians have lost the war… my phone tried to correct my use of “data are” today.
I will continue to fight for this lost cause (‘datum’ is the singular of ‘data’!!!!), but I know in my heart that it is already over 😔

I like the idea of Kaiba coming back from Aaru after seeing Atem again and having this urge to have him inlaid upon history, forever. It might seem antithetical to his character because of how he is about the past vs present. But listen, Like maybe he went to Egypt, made an estimate based on Memory world stuff and knowing Atem in general, and made a little memorial for him based on where he would of died. He contacts museums and makes sure Egyptology sources update and mention him. textbook recalls to fill in the missing information so that he is no longer the “nameless pharaoh”. He makes sure the world will remember his name.
“I am tired of myself to-night. I should like to be somebody else” The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I felt like playing dress up this morning. Might delete later lol
Low key nauseous with a headache all day, I hate having death and dying disease
I ran and they stayed I will never forgive them for refusing to follow me just as I will never forgive myself for leaving in the first place.
it does feel good to be on a new blog, like in the same way it does when you change your sheets. or like when you finally get to throw away your old backpack or work shoes. idk.
It is a rainy afternoon. Or maybe it's night. The clock says it's sometime after 4:00 PM, yet it could be 10, or 7. Sirens wail, you can see the red lights reflected in the wet asphalt from way up in my office building perch. Time has stopped, but I've been here, unmoving, for years.
I WILL post HOAL chapter 8 this Thursday. I WILL DO IT. If it’s the last thing I do!!!!
