SMALL, TINY HEADCANONS:

Izuku is left handed (yes, I know he’s right handed canonically, but I say no! to that). It’s an advantage in battle because no one expects someone to punch with their left usually, but for the majority of Izuku’s life it’s been a bit of disadvantage, because of the lack of leftie anything in the world. He always figured it was just his luck, though, what with being quirkless and all.

The reason Izuku has so many All Might posters up on his wall still isn’t just because he really admires his mentor, but also because whenever he’s feeling tired or down or like he can’t keep his eyes open and study or train any longer, all he has to do is look up and see All Might’s smiling face. And he remembers where he is, and what he’s doing, and what he needs to do, and he’s motivated all over again.

Izuku’s hair is not only super curly, but whenever it rains outside or the humidity is high, his hair gets frizzy as well. It’s really embarrassing and not a good look, but Izuku’s never heard about frizz control shampoo or coconut oil before so he’s suffered through it all these years. Someone help him.

Izuku doesn’t listen to a lot of music. Tragic, I know. Sometimes he listens to it while studying, but it ends up distracting him more than keeping him concentrated. Outside of studying ... He listens to it when working out sometimes too, and embarrassingly enough it’s not music he was originally into. It was music he knew Kacchan listened to, and started listening to it himself to get into the mindset and get pumped. He figured if this was what got Kacchan ready to train and kick ass, then he should try doing the same, too! So his playlist is kind of weird. It’s a lot of soft indie stuff mixed with alternative and then on comes the really loud violent rap / rock for his work out playlist. 

When Izuku studies, he hunches over his work pretty far. He’s usually in a couple of different positions. Either his mouth is covered by the palm of his hand, fingers on the side / back of his neck, or he’s got his hand covering the side of his forehead while he studies. Whenever he tries to figure something particularly difficult or trying out, he usually presses the knuckle of his thumb against his mouth. You can hear him humming in thought a lot and making quiet comments to himself. 

He also taps his pen or pencil against his paper a lot, and shakes it back and forth really rapidly between any two given fingers (usually his thumb and pointer, or pointer and middle) when trying to absorb information.

He’s addicted to Smash Tap. And to the BNHA equivalent of Pokemon Go (which is basically Smash Tap, only instead of being more like a gacha game, it’s Pokemon Go's ‘go out and find your favorite heroes, and compete against other heroes / stop villains!’ kind of approach). He’d never tell anyone about it, and he’d get really really embarrassed if anyone asked because it’s pretty dorky, even for aspiring heroes, but if he found out anyone else played he will never shut up about it to them. He’s also incredibly dedicated. He’s been that One GuyTM who’s walked around the local park at 1AM trying to catch the legendary All Might.

He had a hamster when he was younger. They couldn’t afford to get a dog or a cat, so his mother got him a hamster instead, and Izuku loved it. He was heartbroken when it passed away, and he’s always wanted to own another hamster. He also really loves birds, but they’re more high maintenance and he wouldn’t be able to dedicate the proper amount of time or attention to care for the bird.

Izuku can devour an entire pizza pie by himself in less than an hour. He’s small but he hungers. With the training regiment he has himself on, and the crazy intensity of it, not to mention the training the school has the students undergo, Izuku has a big appetite. He’ll inhale a whole table if he’s hungry enough, and it’s even worse when he’s studying. He’ll go through all the food on his desk without even looking.

I did fuck-all for writing yesterday for some stupid reason so now I’m behind 5 prompts. lit.
