Okay, so I was thinking “Hey? How fast is Sariel?”

AND I PUT WAY TO MUCH EFFORT IN IT, and maybe made some math errors...

So I popped up a wip abandoned animation and counted how many steps Sariel made in 2 seconds, which was 4.

So she made 2 steps a second,

So, I decided to make it into a post because I put WAYYY too much effort into trying to figure out this.

I tried Finishing Time (seconds) = Race Distance / ( Stride Length * Step frequency )

Race distance will be 1 mile, so that will be 1609.344m

Stride length:

So, Females: Height in inches multiplied by 0.413 equals stride length! So 7ft in inches is 84, (213.36cm) so her stride length is… 34.692.. That is 2.891 ft / 88.11768cm, THAT’S THE HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE 2 YEAR OLD. SARIEL IS MAKING STRIDES THE SIZE OF A HUMAN 2 YEAR OLD!!

Cadence (because I wanted to)

Cadence is steps per minute, step frequency (steps per second) is cadence/60, but I know she makes 2 steps a second so.. Her CADENCE is 120

Okay so… x=1609.344m(one mile) / 34.692in*2 that’s drumroll…

76.0982359045 seconds so she goes 1 mile every ~76.1 seconds

So she can run a mile in 1.268333 minutes . Elite marathon runners average a mile in around 4 to 5 minutes, she IS RUNNING UNDER HALF THE TIME OF A ELITE MARATHON RUNNER! SHE IS RUNNING AT 76.09998 MPH!!!!  HOLY HELL, MAN!!! DAMN THAT’S FAST!
