There has to be a dozen code and ethics violations Shepard’s breaking. She realizes this as they stand before the docking bay to the Normandy, with Kaidan and Liara oddly mute given recent events. Could be the post-combat burnout. Could be the fact that they’re waiting to take cues from their commander. That commander in question is still debating the pros and cons; hands resting on hips, helm tilted low as she regards the person -- virus? -- beside them. The docking bay connects, a series of heavy clicks before the hydraulics vent and seal.
