Hold on I just thought of something very funny for Shepard to say to Kaidan in the hospital. Something about Liara being very different on Mars than how she was when she first joined the Normandy.

the first time around i thought itd be better if i saved the ascension bc i thought its firepower could then be used to take down sovereign. i typically still favor that choice. the 1st council is full of dicks but the 2nd one is arguably even worse
oh god yh, the first game in the series I played was 3 so it gave me default choices and I got this council, iirc the asari councillor was Difficult

aroaceobiwan AAAAA bless ur kind heart okay!!! so my #1 Shepard is Astrid! she's a demigirl and she's biromantic grey-ace! she's in a relationship with Vega (bc I am shega trash) and is always ready to kick someone's ass bc she's renegade as hell. she's actually pretty kind as long as no one pisses her off or is rude to her friends. she tried to join the alliance when she was young and they were like "nah wait until you're 18" of course but she went back a year later and anderson immediately saw her potential and that was the start of a father/daughter relationship. she's earthborn and hung out with gangs bc she had no other family until she joined the alliance and yeah I'm rambling a little but if there's anything specific u want to know then feel free to ask!! :0

I love these fics bc the last chapter is always "Shepard is dead. ppl are crying." but then the epilogue is like "yeah no lol canon sucks and Shepard is fine and they all lived happily ever after" like damn right that's what I like to see
