E. If you could live and be healthy without sleeping or eating/drinking, which would you cut out of your life?
If I can do it and have no repercussions what-so-ever, I’m definitely picking no sleep. I enjoy food. I enjoy sleep, but not having to worry about fatigue and insanity makes it an easy choice with more time in the day.
O. Would you rather spend one year with your one true love just to never see them again or the rest of your life with second best?
Well that’s true, I suppose on a hypothetical I’ll be unreasonable and choose the year.
V. A world without religion, good, bad, neutral?
Bad…religion has been the source of much art, science, philosophy and ethics that has shaped our world. The first civilization in the world was very focused in religion, it could be argued that the Mesopotamian religion was really crafted by the state as a means to successfully keep irrigation canals maintained, which allowed the first civilizations to grow….If you’re speaking on a strictly contemporary sense, I still think it wouldn’t be great. Certainly very little of the worlds problems will be fixed as most of them are about economic struggle and sovereignty on the world stage. Even the Middle East would still be a contentions war zone as the majority of anger there is not rooted strictly in religion but more the tumultuous 50′s and disagreements over land and post-imperialist boarders. It’s more of a Pan-Arab verses State of Israel Issue then it is a Judaism verses Islam issue…Not much would change, but I think certain things would be lost yes.
