Measuring Love
when she asked, how much do you love me? Why this fear?
Our society has engineered a whole generation driven by outcomes. We measure everything. Our addiction to results has led us to quantify even the emotions. And in all this, we made love measurable. What makes you happy? An extremely difficult question with weirdly complex answers. We all are so confused. We are calculating the confusion too.
We meet someone amazing, and immediately start deducing on what will be the results. What will be this relationship like? Can I settle down with this person? As soon as things get real, we run, we run so fast thinking we are protecting ourselves. We call it a practical approach. “I didn’t want to be vulnerable.” “I want this to work out but ...”. We are the loyal subjects of a treacherous world of what-ifs and buts. In our attempt to be as practical as possible, we have shut down our emotional side to take risks. This is the same generation of risk takers who would not be bound by stability of one job, who would go exploring countries rather than increasing the amount in their bank account, who would choose experiences, cultures over security of one place. Then why do we refrain from taking the same risk when it comes to love? What has made us so scared?

How strong a lovebird love could be? Have u ever wonder how strong can you love someone?

Can we measure love?
I had take care a lovebirds for a year, well now they are dead, maybe it’s my fault I didn’t take care of them enough I give them food and water but maybe that wasn’t enough. That’s why one day I just saw one of them dead, after that the other bird dies too after two days of suffering for something I don’t know. They say lovebirds can’t be separated if one of them dies the other will surely follow and die as well I just thought how could that be you can’t chose when you could die! (I mean naturally and oh! no suicide people live love and laugh! live your life to the fullest!) So perhaps their love for one another is strong that they can’t live without each other and they mean it literally.
Now I wonder can I love someone as strong as the lovebirds feels for each other. Can love could really be that strong that you can’t live without your other half?
They say love is different for everyone, we can’t expect to feel the same feeling to everyone we thought and feel we loved, we can’t really measure love, and not because your love is stronger than your other half does it mean it wasn’t fair, that it wasn’t enough instead you should be thankful cause that person feel love for you.
Love is love you can compare it to anything and give lots of meaning and definition but still it won’t be the same for everyone so however different it could be the fact that you found love is enough to be thankful cause not everyone can have what they wanted.
