Redesigned the female Phantoms from Demon's Souls who shared the exact same NPC data with the exception of hairstyles! See for yourself: ( x )!

I previously did something similar with female Phantoms from Dark Souls 2 that shared identical faces ( x )! Kept the approach of changing shades but not the color in general, so they all had to be blondes with brown eyes in some ways sfdhfdh

Oolan is a bit of an exception; she is a descendant of Shadowmen and mentioned as being of foreign race / different ethnicity directly:

異民族の勇者、長弓のウーランと、彼の蛮兵たち

By all means, she should be brown like Old Hero and Doran are. I thought inhuman shade of golden hair was fitting for both the aesthetics and because her bow is said to not be possible for a human to wield (player doesn't count, we use Demonic powers!). Not that I should worry about something in a game with a literal green-haired character...? Though I might drop this shade for much paler one later.

Other girls are cool too, sadly that poor things didn't ever get the names ;-; Great Club Phantom appears to be defending the Crystal Lizards den functionally. I am pretty sure she must have the same scale-like mutations as Ed, Boldwyn and various miners in the Stonefangs do. And, of course, Meat Cleaver Phantom is our first cannibal butcher living in a poisonous area before Mildred, Melinda and Anastasia! Sadly, Demon's Souls NPC creator could add neither the scales nor pistules of living in horrendous antisanitary on the characters' skin.

Per tradition, one of the girls should have kept unaltered face, and only the assassin girl (Baby's Nail Phantom) qualified! However, I blew it up because of my skill issue. You can clearly see this default face is way smaller and younger than how I drew her. Oh well. Since she wears Black Leather Set (same as Patches and Blige) and attacks just before the entrance to Fool's Idol, I assume she is sort of a "treasure hunter" in a very mean way. She knows people who escaped the Prison of Hope should be nobles, therefore tucking some wealth in their pockets. Unlike Patches she doesn't have to set up the traps though, but instead just waits for them to come to her like a spider. What a mean person.

I've been taking a second look at female Phantoms in Demon's Souls that allegedly just have copypasted faces of one another, but it seems like they have minimal eye shape differences! I tried to illustrate what they are with my best ability but you can kind of also see

(Age refers to youth slider in creator and not canon age lmao) I'd also argue that they have slightly different facial shapes, with Meat Cleaver Phantom having the most triangle one, Great Club Phantom having the longest one, Baby's Mail Phantom having oval one and Oolan having kinda square-ish one. Might use some adjustments to make them stand out more, but I feel like there was at least minimal intent to differentiate them!

Shape of lips and noses + all having brown eyes is the actual culprit here. I asked Steven whether they do have different skin color in actual sliders (ignore lightning tricks), hopefully we will know!

But yeah... I guess only Alfred and Metas are ACTUAL copypaste of each other's face. :p The four hostile Phantom girls had at least minimal thought behind them.
