Nicolaes V is a member of the Editherean race of humanity, a people cursed with a degenerative condition hailing from a celestial cataclysm centuries ago. Their world only lives due to the mysterious deific organic debris known as Aurgel that bonded to their dying ancestors and enabled them a second chance. Each generation has been increasingly reliant on Aurgel to live, even non-human life has become entwined and re-evolved with Aurgel.
The tribes of Edithere define their class systems by what Aurgel material individuals most meld with, with soldiers and workers using muscleo tissue for example or high political leaders using neural Aurgel to connect and command to other Aurgel units and communicate to their people. Due to the degeneration and fears of the future and the past, Edithere is quite conflicted and wars and regimes rule the roost.
Nicoleas V is a master with Aurgel material, being of a highly analytical mind and having a vast understanding of various anatomies, he can use Aurgel tech to easily take apart and put back together patients or opponents. This served him well as a Aurgel suit pilot as well as a field doctor during various tribal conflicts, earning him a high reputation and leading to his rise as a politician. He had hoped to use his rank to try and heal old wounds and unite the tribes, but even he found it near impossible to budge peace through a regime that is infatuated with war. Little by little though, he still tries to add a bit more hope to his life.
Nicoleas V pilots a modified Muscleo class Aurgel suit named "Pharaoh's Daughter". She holds a unique sensory suite to increase battle awareness and study the environment for any advantages or dangers. Some say she almost thinks on her own, but it could just be them admiring her eyes.
P.D. can produce various weapons of Nicoleas's choice. A go to is the Aurgel Saw, a muscle powered set of blades that pull back and forth rapidly like an organic chainsaw to cut down targets or make incisions. The Dental Pummeler is a club of meat and tooth rounds with the simple purpose of beating things to absolute destruction.
The Lactic Acid Rifle (L.A.R.) is a non-lethal weapon, pumped with modified injector round teeth that will inject a super lactic acid into a target's body, causing an agonizing burning paralysis in the foe.
