i've mentioned this before but if you are able to handle cold things + use a knife on some occasions but aren't always able to prepare food, chicken jerky can be made in large batches and is relatively cheap to make. i make it sometimes on weekends when i have the most energy/spoons (my main problem is executive dysfunction) so during the week i can get some lean protein in without having to prepare anything you need to partially freeze the chicken first, to make it easier to slice, and then slice it into thin strips. add your marinade/seasonings and let it sit for a day or so in the fridge, and then cook it in the oven at a low temperature for 4-6 hours. the slicing is the hardest part, and it definitely helps if you can get a friend to help. obvs this won't work for everyone, but it's helpful for me i know jerky can be made with vegetarian ingredients too, but that's a little trickier and i've never actually done it
these ribs mom brings home sometimes are so good as far as meat goes but. theres literally a whole layer of Assorted Spices you have to bite off or peel off & it makes it so u cant taste Anything but the meat is so good......
