I’m going to put this in a separate post. A while ago I asked if any of my followers would want to play d&d with me....would any of you, or any other followers, be also interested in alternatives such as dungeon world?
ok not entirely true I have more than one cleric idea but here we go, images and descriptions under the cut to save space
Daveth Glittergem I Rogue - My first ever DnD character. An Ex-pirate Gnome and recent Arcane Trickster who is heavily influenced by Jack Rackham in Black Sails. “Being underestimated is an incredible gift” sums him up pretty well.
Ulric Silvertome I Cleric - My upcoming character in a mini-campaign. He’s a Dwarf historian, Knowledge Domain Cleric and built to be very different to Daveth (so more lawful, less charismatic)
Now onto the ones I have no games for
Fenton Silverscale I Artificer - A dragonborn guild artisan who spends more time building his “toys”. Very clever but not very wise
Zeek I Barbarian - Goblin Zealot who somehow came to see himself as a champion of a small settlement after his own was destroyed by adventurers. His rage comes from a feeling of “this is mine, don’t touch it”
Rufus Greenleaf I Druid - Halfling Druid and reluctant Folk Hero. Grew up on a farm, loves animals, used his druid powers during a flood to save people and now the people of his village see him as a hero....which he hated, so left.
Lake Ambersmith I Fighter: Hill Dwarf and former member of the city watch, now working as a mercenary. Tough and outwardly cynical but with a desire to do real good underneath.
Jacob Low I Monk: Half-orc Ex-sailor who used to be a deckhand on a merchant ship. Attacked by pirates and washed up on an island monastery where he trained to be a monk. Not the smartest guy but very honorable and wants to bring those pirates to Justice, or stop other people being taken advantage of.
Lucian Vermont I Paladin: A tiefling born into a human noble family, determined to prove he’s more than his demonic blood by swearing the Oath of Redemption (or possibly Devotion). Not the wisest guy with the tendency to rush into situations conflicting with his oath’s more cautious approach.
Bramble I Ranger: A horizon walker ranger from a Firbolg conclave that protected a pathway to the feywild. Realized other portals to the planes exist and decided it might be a good idea to protect people from the dangers they can bring. Very kind dude but not the smartest.
Carlton I Sorcerer: An Tabaxi Urchin who was taken in by a gnome Artisan called Badger before his wild magic forced him to flee the city when it set fire to a few city blocks and polymorphed a few people. Very nervous about his magic but determined to figure it out.
Esme Dampsquib I Warlock: A Dragonborn Witch who was taken in by a fey being that may or may not be a powerful Hag after she got lost in a swamp as a child, pretty sure she has a Lizard Familiar.
Archibald Gloom I Wizard: A very old human wizard who started studying necromany in order to extend his life. Kind of a mixture between Merlin from the sword in the stone Disney film and Rasputin from the animated Anastasia film.
Edit: oh crap I forgot one
Maxwell Shadowsong I Bard: Punk Rock Drow Bard who’s parents are cultists to a strange old god. He ran away from the underdark to the surface in order to become famous an you know....rock! (possibly multiclassing with warlock)
Our DM will be a player in our mini campaign and she thought about making her rogue character competitive with mine and now i’m really tempted to make a shadow monk. You want competition I can give you competition xD
I humbly suggest 13/Clara. Because I know for a fact that 13 would try to track her down to make sure she's keeping herself out of/in trouble. The impossible girl(friend).
sorry, this time I’m keeping it doctor & river, master or rose only, but I can give you this:
I found out there is a scifi game using the powered by the apocalypse system called uncharted worlds and i’m so thankful for that, it means when I finally get around to playing tabletop rpg’s I don’t have to try to learn, and also get other people to learn, the very intimidating rules for starfinder
