From what I can catch of the Mechanical Lullaby event story (just gonna use normal names). I really wish I had a tablet so I could just transcribe all the kanji into google translate instead of trying to write with a mouse x_x

Yamato winds Riku up to turn him on for the first time in a long time and explains to him that he’s a robot doll and the current environment. Yamato asks him if he knows what his role is and Riku says that he doesn’t.

Yamato seems frustrated that Riku doesn’t seem to know his role either...

Yamato suggests Riku go exploring so that something may help him remember what his role is.

Yamato says there’s only a little time left, but there are two bodies that need to be focused on.

Flashback to 3 hours YEARS earlier. (EDIT: Thanks for catching that @enaki)

Yamato does a similar introduction and asks Tenn if he knows what his role is. Tenn doesn’t know it, but he remembers others things and Yamato is shocked.

He gives similar guidance to Tenn that he did to Riku

Riku is walking around outside wondering what his role is and observes that it’s spring.

He bumps into Yuki who is carrying around flowers that he has named Marie. Riku is confused that Yuki gave the flowers a name.

Yuki points out that RIku’s eyes are two different colors and one of them is the same color as Marie.

Yuki gives Marie to Riku and tells him to take care of her.

Mitsuki is whining about how long the work day is until he sees Riku walking and spacing out. He tries to warn him that he’s about to walk into something but Riku doesn’t hear him.

MItsuki checks on Riku and introduces himself as the postman. And that is his role.

Riku is impressed with Mitsuki’s role and wonders if his will be like that.

Mitsuki asks if he’s a lost child. Riku introduces himself and says he’s going to his house to get answers but doesn’t know where it is... So he is a lost child XD

Mitsuki suggests Riku go see Iori and gives him directions to find him.

Mitsuki notices the flowers that Yuki gave him and figures Riku has met Yuki already.

Riku points out that Mitsuki knows a lot and wonders if he would know what Riku’s role is too.

Riku tells Mitsuki that Yamato directed him to go out to try and jog his memories. Mitsuki wonders if just wandering around will really help. He tells Riku to see Iori because if Iori doesn’t have answers, he probably has a book that does.

I really really love the Mechanical Lullaby cards, they’re so pretty! I wanted to start by drawing Riku, or Terra! I’ve only read the first part of the story, and it’s so interesting! Next, I’ll be drawing Cielo, or Tenn♡

Mechanical Lullaby 5

Riku makes it to the library and is impressed with how big it is.

Iori approaches him to ask if anything is wrong but then identifies him as Riku (Terra). Mitsuki had alerted Iori that Riku would be coming his way.

Iori tells Riku to let him know what kind of book he’s looking for. Riku asks if there’s a book that would tell him what his role is and Iori actually has a book for him. He explains that every robot doll in the city has one duty or role to focus on. Mitsuki’s is postman, Iori’s is librarian.

When a robot doll wakes up, their role is given to them and that becomes their life.

In that case, when Riku woke up he was told to find his memories. Iori thinks that’s strange since that’s not really a role, but goes back to finding the book. He tells Riku that it’s the easiest book to understand.

The book talks about how there are classes and that these classes are separated by high and low class. Mitsuki’s position as postman is considered middle class. Iori’s duty as a librarian is one of the highest classes.

Riku starts wondering what Yuki’s class was since he had given him Marie. Iori points out that it’s not an artificial flower like Riku thought, but an actual Marigold which is really valuable.

Iori asks if Yuki really gave it to him. He was apparently handling an endangered species of plant. Iori figures Yuki’s role is plant and animal management. It’s a high class. Riku thinks that’s amazing. Iori tells him that not every high class role is really amazing.

Riku wonders what Yamato’s class is since he was the one who woke Riku up even though he’s also a robot doll. Iori believes that would fall under a high class also and that would actually be the highest position.

Iori goes quiet in though but tells Riku that it’s time for the library to close but he’s welcome to come again tomorrow.

When Riku leaves, Iori is lost in thought. Yamato doesn’t wake up many dolls, but wonders why he woke one up today and then didn’t even give him a role. And something about uniting/combining...?

Mechanical Lullaby 4

Mitsuki is wondering if Riku is doing okay after they split up but runs into Yamato, which is rare.

Yamato asks Mitsuki if there have been any changes in the city. There haven’t but he’s noticed more deliveries lately.

Yamato takes the blame for the increase in deliveries since he’s been trying to gather documents. Mitsuki points out that his deliveries have pretty much doubled thanks to Yamato.

Yamato and Mitsuki make plans to go out to eat to make up for the extra work which excites Mitsuki because he’s been wanting to try more fod.

Mitsuki mentions running into Riku and recalling how lost he was even though Yamato had given him a map. Yamato asks that Mitsuki help Riku out if he ever needs it. Mitsuki comments on how rare it is for Yamato to say that.

Yamato says it’s cuz Riku finally woke up. Mitsuki asks if Riku malfunctioned and Yamato agrees. Mitsuki says that he and Iori will watch out for him.

Yamato leaves and apologizes for disturbing Mitsuki while he’s fulfilling his role.
