A “pianola” with a difference at Siegfried;’s Mechanical Museum in Rudesheim. Very ingenious.
Exceedingly racist coin operated game at the Musee Mechanique. I can’t post what happened when I put my quarter in.
While in San Francisco, we also visited the Musee Mecanique, or Mechanical Museum.
It’s priviately owned collection of hundreds of mechanical entertainment machines, such as player pianos, pinball machines, strange fortune telling devices, and nickelodeons, to name a few.
It is also fairly dark in there, unfortunately, so I wasn’t able to document much of it.
You’ll have to settle for this image of the top of one of the nickelodeons, complete with viewfinder, and ornate coin slot.
