{💣}—; Roo took a sip of tea as he read his book in his office, after giving a tour of his museum once more and was now taking some time to relax by reading. One of his favorite hobbies, simple yet he truly enjoyed it.

Although while reading he thought he heard some kind of strange sound coming from outside, so the blue marsupial looked out the window and thought he saw something flying around and leaving a smoke trail not too far away out there.

The kangaroo was confused, adjusting his monocle as he watched. He turned away from the window momentarily and heard the sound get louder and he thought this couldn’t be good.

Sure enough he’d be correct, as soon as something blasted right through the wall and into the walls of his museum. This surprised him so much he hopped up from his chair and into the wall causing major damage, and not just because of there now being a hole in the wall. So he quickly went over to investigate this. “Whatever in the world is this?!”

Oops. He was a day late, but it's not his fault one of his drones had to malfunction mid-way. Hurriedly reaching towards the entrance in the early morning, the doctor left a sealed package near the cat's door before immediately flying away with his jetpack within seconds. Maybe she's heard the engine going off, maybe she didn't, but enjoy the pink MP3 music player that came with a voice message labelled "Prepare for a BEATing next month, cat~".

The cat mutant was doing her usual of sitting by her computer desk,watching some videos while having some food next to her.....Had she slept and got up early or was she still awake from the night before?                                                                              yes

Her ears lightly flick at the sound of what sounded like a engine outside her house. It was a bit early for the clowns to try and mess with her was it not? They normally clown around about noon! Slowly getting out of her chair,Kitty made her way to the door and opened it up,green eyes looking around for a moment before they looked down at the ground. Blinking softly at the sight of the MP3 player,she bends down and picks it up,looking it over for a moment to be sure it wasn’t a bomb or anything before pressing the play button on it for the voice message to play. Oh she snickers at the message,shaking her head lightly as she turns and heads back into her house,closing the door with the heel of her foot

  “ Oh I’m gonna be beating your ass for that pun nerd ”

The Bandicoot’s ears perked up at the sound of a certain someone’s jetpack,green eyes looking up to where he thinks the source is to see who else but a unidentified flying bastard,N.Gin.

There was a small sigh from the orange marsupial as the others metallic voice rung out,his arms folding against his chest. A small roll of the eyes at the taking the day off comment. Oh wow so nice of him to give Crash the one day off out of the other 364 days......

With a small smirk,he just nods at the other saying to meet him at Upstream next week before reaching a hand into his back pocket and pulling out a Bomb Berry. Before the other could even react,the bandicoot throws the berry to him at high speed.

   It’s been a while since he’d seen his slovenly assistant, N. Gin in the chatrooms... Not that he spent much time in the chatrooms himself, he wasn’t about to subject himself to that level of constant mockery. One can only tolerate being called ‘Clown’ or ‘Nerd’ so much before the need for a new phone arises. Better to lurk once in a while. That annoyance aside, it was unusual for the rocket-headed henchman of his to be offline for so long. He didn’t care what N. Gin did in his free time, not in the slightest, but he was acting weird!! First his disappearance in the chatroom, then the constant reminders to stop smoking up the place more than usual, and now?!

   ...He’s lucky he enjoys jazz...

   Pressing a button at his desk, the P.A. System in the castle clicks and hums to life. Silence, only broken by Cortex clearing out his throat. “This thing on? Is- Ah... There we go... N. GIN!!” His voice booms, practically shaking the walls of the castle enough for the dust to rise. “Report to my study, immediately!! Your Master figures it’s about time to give you your weekly performance review...” A Lie. A Fabrication. He never gave him weekly reviews. He always went off on N. Gin whenever he deemed it to be the right moment. The right time. But with that little fib, it might, juuuust might make the his personal little Igor, hurry towards him faster. Sure, he could get up and go see N. Gin himself. He could make his way down to his lab and knock on his door again. ...But he simply didn’t feel like it.

   “And don’t dilly-dally!! I don’t think I need to tell you what will be in store for you if you do...” He growls, his voice foreboding. But within seconds, it picks up that light, smug tone once again. “...There. That should get him rushing to- ?!?! IS THIS THING STILL O-” Before he can finish, the mic cuts out. Ginothy better hurry, lest he incur his master’s ire.
