It’s not unusual for Dib to be sneaking into his father’s lab in hopes of finding tech to take down his alien nemesis, but that day the boy finds something… different. He hadn’t even meant to find it, but after tripping into the textbooks that were there, a certain notebook had been one of many to fall onto him, catching his eye when he’d stood. The cover had his dad’s writing on it, with a simple string of numbers. An experiment name, perhaps ? He forgets Zim for now to look through the pages, eyes widening as he read what was inside.
No. This wasn’t true. He wasn’t-... Dib slammed the notebook closed && rushed upstairs to the living room where Professor Membrane was. It was clear he was in a panic, but he knew that his dad could calm him of this. That he could explain that what he thought the pages spoke of was wrong.
" Dad. ” The boy holds up the notebook for him to see, a pout on his face as he waited for an explanation.

If there was one thing Gaz really enjoyed about her dad’s at-home lab, it was that it meant him being home more. Well, and there was that she had constant access to top-notch technology, along with her dad’s old and new inventions. She would take these opportunities to often update her security system, or create new means of destruction and gaming alongside her dad. Thus, here she sat, fiddling with one of the parts to her robots to fix a glitch. She really had her full attention on it at one point, until she heard her own dad making noises of frustration that immediately interested her. Glancing over towards him with a slight look of confusion, she slightly opened one eye as she thought she could solve it . . . maybe.
