Recently, I had the pleasure to speak with Capitol Bop, a Jazz publication based out of my hometown, Washington DC. We spoke about my journey thus far, future endeavors and my new album, “Observations Of Heaven”. During the last 8 years I’ve moved 10 times to 5 different states.. I once saw Prince throw his guitar in the air in the middle of a song. A roadie on top of the stage caught it. Then the same roadie dropped a new guitar from the sky and Prince caught it. Then .5 seconds later Prince went into a guitar solo. And he was dancing the whole time. It was mind blowing. After watching that I feel obligated to perform at this Prince tribute in DC with Felipe Pupo and cover at least one of his songs in our set. It will be a punk cover though.
