her shoulders jump heavily, her heart unsteady and panicked, the very tips of her fingers burned with adrenaline that would soon pour into the ground and leave her... not so scared shitless. clementine’s face quickly grows grotesque and she makes an effort to push the skag’s corpse off of her form and get to her feet, dusting herself off and catching some spit in the process. GROSS.
❝ – thanks. ❞ she breaths, looking up to her ‘saviour’. ❝ – bastard snuck up on me. ❞
“What kind of things do YOU make?” Chief’s asking her as she stands at a crafting table. He wouldn’t blame her if she so chooses to ignore him, but GODDAMN is her curious now. She’s been standing here for a few hours now, blocking out the world! Which is how Chief acts whenever HE’S building something new.
“I lean more towards GUNS AND VEHICLES, cuz they normally HELP me more than regular day-to-day supplies. But I don’t really JUDGE others. Everyone has their own PREFERENCES for what they build!”

“WHOA-”
“Okay, what is that thing??” She was pointing to the Vault hunter’s bot. She’d heard of Gaige before, and she’d heard she had some kind of unique and one of a kind bot, but not one this... This... AMAZING. She stood, in awe, almost star struck, eyes trailing around the bot floating before her. Eyes flickered fro a moment before she turned to the other.
“I’ve literally never seen something so.... Extraordinary!!”

He hummed, taking a step back from the rather sloppy script on Opportunity’s once clean wall. In a sense he felt a little like Claptrap, thinking that the big CEO of Hyperion would actually see this but then again, he does keep a close eye on his ‘precious’ city. So it wasn’t too far fetched. Still, he didn’t mind prodding some fun with the young girl who was currently standing upon her science fair project. “Ey, I think it’s perfect. You wanna make a difference? Go big or go home, ya know?” However, he obliged and lifted the can up and over to the now moving Deathtrap. Completely ignoring the can, Gaige jumps off to retrieve a much appealing color. PINK. Axton couldn’t help but roll his eyes at her decision but he didn’t object. As she drew the middle finger and professionally signed it with her name, Axton huffed. The strong scent of the spray infected his lungs with it’s left behind vapor but it soon cleared as he spoke. “You just did the same thing I did but in a different format, hotshot. And what’s with the heart? Do something cooler, like a skull.”
"Well that was unexpected.”
“What did I tell ya?” The former Atlas soldier managed not to topple over when he turned around, his bow hanging off by a finger and ready to fall at the slightest breeze. “I.” He slurred. “Never.” Slight wobble. A loud thunk as the one-ton bow greeted the ground. “Miss.”

“Fire’s bad for the complexion. I burn easily, never tan.”
meme - accepting.
“Believe me my dear, fire is never good for anyone’s complexion.”
He wasn’t exactly speaking from experience, as he had never had such a close call with flames, but he had been the cause of a fire related death. Oil, fire, and human heads did not mix as he had discovered.
“A pity about your inability to tan, though– Not everyone can be born with genes as perfect as mine.”
