Really?
This is just a random rant I’m posting. I’m sure hardly anybody is going to read it, mostly just for me.
So I’ve been on this sight for a while now, and while I’ve come across some really cool art and other works from some great people, I’ve also come across a lot of annoying and downright ridiculous nonsense. Particularly when it comes attitudes towards shows or games.
So new Overwatch trailer comes out. Pretty cool trailer, interesting character, overall pretty excited to play when she comes out. Come on here, see almost nothing but hate. Why? Well the two I’ve seen the most so far are because she’s white, which is stupid, or because she looks like the other female characters, which is not true.
That’s almost all the criticisms of popular shows on this site. It’s either something completely idiotic, or just completely untrue. I mean, seriously? I don’t have a problem with someone not liking a show. There are plenty of shows, movies, and games I like others don’t, and vice versa. But when the reasoning behind it it something just so stupid or shallow it just baffles me.
People are actually putting her beside Widowmaker and Sombra like they actually look alike... they don’t.
If you’re going to hate something don’t hate it just because it’s popular. Have an actual legitimate reason for it. Or at the very least just admit you hate it because it’s popular. Making up random stuff is just... why?
Anyhow, that’s it. Sure most of you don’t give a crap but I just felt like ranting.
