SO Annabelle Fritton, posh girl extraordinaire, attends Cheltenham Ladies College but they bully her because they suck? So she goes to St Trinians, a school run by her aunt (who's played by Rupert Everett and I literally cry with laughter) that's basically anarchy. Gemma Arteton plays Kelly, the headgirl, and it was her breakout performance and she's perf (irrelevant but interesting).

They have to save their school because funding is being cut, and so decide to win University Challenge so they can use the final as a cover while they steal a painting from the National Portrait gallery to sell - 

MEANWHILE Colin Firth, playing Miss Fritton (headteacher)'s ex, is the minister for education and he decides to 'sort St Trinians out' but then the girls play tricks on him and he gets hit on by a dog and it's amusing.

Also featuring: sharpened hockey sticks used as weapons, Russell Brand as the guy who sells the alcohol the girls make, references to The Great Escape and the best secretary there has ever been
