"Be My Bride of Frankenstein" is a monstrous love song inspired by retro novelty rock, channeling classic Halloween hits by way of Nick Cave & PJ Harvey -- or Boris Karloff & Elsa Lanchester. The track nods to spooky hits like "Monster Mash" and "Werewolves of London," with a little Munsters and Addams Family thrown in. It’s the perfect number to include on any Halloween (or wedding) playlist.
“Be My Bride of Frankenstein” releases on Oct 5 on all platforms and will be included on Charming Disaster’s forthcoming third album, SPELLS + RITUALS.

About Charming Disaster:
Brooklyn, NY based musical duo Charming Disaster was formed in 2012 by singer/songwriters Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris. Inspired by the gothic humor of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton, the noir storytelling of Raymond Chandler, the murder ballads of the Americana tradition, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret, they write songs that tell stories, using two voices to explore dark narratives and characters with a playful sensibility. In their critically acclaimed albums Love, Crime & Other Trouble (2015) and Cautionary Tales (2017), Charming Disaster has explored themes like true crime, myth and folklore, and the supernatural. it's a fun spy action romp of a movie, not unlike Kingsman (which is a huge guilty pleasure of mine), but it also has an almost snz fic-esque element where the male lead spy character is allergic to the female lead's cat. 🙀
the spy is played by Sam RockweII, the sneezes/allergy scenes are a bit cartoonish but not half bad at all, and the entire concept of a superspy with cat allergies is just Very Appealing in general, so. Fun film. Would recommend. 👍 👍 👍 👍
