Were you on LiveJournal?

Since more people are using iPods or a separate media player for music/tv show and movies, I was wondering if anyone was on LiveJournal back in the day?

I remember there were groups where people could share media files. Members would post a list of albums/songs they are looking for and whoever who has them would upload the files on Mediafire, Rapidshare or MegaUpload. It's not just limited to music. There were groups for movies or tv shows too. Episodes would be uploaded weekly on Sendspace. The video files would already be in MP4 so you can just transfer them to your iPod or PSP.

Do people still do this now? If so where? I love how I could just comment on the post and people would go back and forth about their music taste and recommendations.
