ECLIPSE

Music - Spray composed by EWE 

The concept of this work is based on the relationship between Light and Shadow. 

I focused on using black and white to show this idea. 

The shadow is depicted through a girl lying down in darkness, legs wide open. The one with an exploded head is symbolic of adult me

 and the the girl with a white dress is symbolic of me when I was still little. 

Adult is Light and Child is Shadow. Ironically,,.. 

This is simply showing the reality of how us individuals can not intertwine and interact with us during the childhood and how as we grow, we forget, conceal and hide our identity. 

The beginning of hand trying to reach for a child holding a rose is depicting how us, adults desire to go back to past and live differently.

PROCESS- THIS WAS MY INITIAL PLAN FOR THE VIDEO 

I FIRST THOUGHT OF CREATING A VIDEO ABOUT PINOCCHIO BUT I CHANGED MY MIND AND ENDED UP DISCUSSING ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SHADOW AND LIGHT/ ADULT AND CHILD

Video I have created. This was my first time working on video using pictures and drawings. The title is “Eclipse” and its about shadow and light. ( I will explaining further in the next post) 

The duration is approximately 30 seconds. The software I used are Adobe After Effects, iMovie, Photoshop and Adobe illustrator. The time it took for me to create is.... I don't know
