hi ate ica! sa mediatrix audition po ba kailangan magdala ng sariling minus-one for the singing and dancing part? gaano po kahaba dapat yung dancing? :)

Hii lovee!! You’re auditioning this week, I suppose. You can bring or you can do acapella! For the dance, you have to bring your own music… I think one minute dance routine would suffice! Best of luck and I hope to see you in the general assembly!!! 💋

Hi Ate! I want to join the Mediartrix kaso I'm afraid na baka hindi po ako matanggap. Is it hard po ba? I don't dance po kasi (awkward dancing lang hehe) and I sing naman po pero hindi yung super galing talaga. Ate you think matatanggap ako? Gusto ko talaga sumali :(((( As in! :(

I CANNOT SING. For a production audition, I sang LUPANG HINIRANG and TWINKLE TWINKLE but still got in the production hahahaha! I’m not kidding. You’ll do just fine. :-)

nakakatakot po ba auditions sa mediartix? kasi i tried teatro tomasino last year it was traumatizing hahahaa. ano po kailangan nila sa auditions??

Mediartrix, the university-wide multimedia and musical theatre organization of the University of Santo Tomas proudly presents its installment for this year’s minor production, ‘Kahon-kahong Kahilingan’, which will be staged at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium. Adding to its array of comedy-musicals, Kahon will surely make you laugh and want more. Show dates are: November 6 – 3-5 PM; 6-8 PM November 7 – 12-2 PM; 3-5 PM ; 6-8 PM November 8 – 12-2 PM; 3-5 PM ; 6-8 PM This production is directed by Floran Lagao, produced by Mavs Jogno, and written by Matthew Gatchalian and Astrid Santos. Tickets are up for grabs at 70 pesos. Visit the Mediartrix office at the University of Santo Tomas Tan Yan Kee Building, Room 4B for inquiries.

why did you stop sa tomcat? and switched to mediartrix?

Correction: I joined both orgs at the same time. Tried to balance both, together with my responsibilities as a CASA Liason Assistant and my responsibilities as an ABSC Staff.

I was never really into the thought of working for TV, to be honest. I joined TOMCAT because almost everyone in my course signed up for it and it would be beneficial for my future classes like TV Prod. But then my love for performing arts was just too strong that I decided to prioritize Mediartrix over TOMCAT. And to tell you honestly, I was never really into the thought of working for production so I wasn’t really happy with what I was doing in TOMCAT. My heart just wasn’t into it. I’ve been dying to try theater since I was in highschool so I thought about joining Mediartrix and I surprisingly had the time of my life! I learned so much, gained a lot of new friends and found a family :-) And that made me stay with Mediartrix for three years… And I will surely come back and give back to that family as much as I can :-)

hi! so im a CA freshie and i'd just like to ask what would be better: should i choose teatro tomasino or mediartix as an org? they both cater to my interests so i'm having trouble deciding :0
